The dome of light is the world's largest one-piece stained glass artwork, 30 meters in diameter with a coverage about 2180 meters square, that is located in the underground station--Formosa Boulevard Station of Kaohsiung Mass Rapid Transit system. The masterpiece was a creation of the Italian Narcissus Quagliata in cooperation with Derix Glass Studios in Germany (Jurgen Gerbig even joked about it at a media conference: "Germans have ideas, Italian know how, and Taiwanese have some money). Its 4,500 glass panels present 4 themes: water, earth, light and fire each of these represent birth, growth, glory, destruction and rebirth respectively.| Theme | Star | Meaning |

I believe this quote is not quite right. I believe it should read: "Italians have some ideas, Germans know how and Taiwanese have some money".
At least in the "Dome of Light" piece it was the Italian, N. Quagliata who had all the ideas and the Germans who provided the "know how" of putting the panels conceived and painted by Narcissus together.
